Job summary

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers a fixed-term anaesthesia post (LAS CT3/ST4 level and above) for six months. The department covers obstetric, gynaecology and gynae-oncology anaesthesia with a comprehensive, EWTD-compliant full-shift rota and on-call responsibilities, including cardiac arrest calls.

Initially supervised by a Consultant Anaesthetist, the successful candidate may work unaccompanied depending on experience and competencies.

Qualifications

• Fixed term post for 6 months at LAS CT3/ST4 level or above.
• Initially under close supervision of a Consultant Anaesthetist, with potential to work unaccompanied.
• Duties include anaesthetic services for obstetrics, gynaecology and gynae oncology; on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide anaesthetic services in obstetric delivery suite.
• Undertake emergency on-call, including cardiac arrest calls.
• Work within EWTD compliant full shift rota and cover occasional colleague absences as practical.
