The Royal Women’s Hospital in Parkville, VIC, Australia invites applications for 2027 August - Anaesthetic Provisional Fellow/Senior Registrar. Fixed-term roles are 6 or 12 months, commencing August 2027, with full-time or part-time options.

Salary ranges from $129,000 to $177,000 per annum (pro-rata). Fellows will gain exposure to obstetric and maternal medicine anaesthesia, support in- house education, and participate in multidisciplinary care, with a focus on high-risk obstetrics.

Qualifications

• Trainee anaesthetist in final year of training or equivalent
• ANZCA PFY level training status required
• Overseas applicants with equivalent fellowship-ready experience welcome

Responsibilities

• Fellows will gain experience in high-risk obstetrics and maternal medicine
• Fellows/Registrars work ~43 hours per week with on-call hours
• Fellows participate in teaching, audit, research and multidisciplinary meetings
