Responsible for developing and implementing operation, maintenance, asset preservation, and risk management strategies to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient long-term performance of the Snowy 2.0 power plant. The role works closely with engineering teams in Australia and Germany to establish maintenance frameworks, support commissioning and early operations, develop training programs, and contribute to operational risk management processes.

Snowy 2.0 is a major expansion of the iconic Snowy Mountains Hydroelectric Scheme. When completed, it will deliver 2,000 megawatts of on-demand renewable energy and approximately 350,000 megawatt-hours of large-scale energy storage to the Australian National Electricity Market. Voith is the selected subcontractor for this work, and the Preservation Manager role is directly tied to this landmark project.
