Job summary

Novus International Careers seeks an experienced sales leader to drive the New Zealand ruminant portfolio. The role targets annual sales growth, shaping the NZ sales strategy across channels including distributors, feed mills, premixers, KOLs, nutritionists and veterinarians.

You will coach distributors, monitor market dynamics, coordinate with Technical Services and Marketing, and organize industry events while upholding regulatory standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• 8–10+ years in ruminant nutrition, animal health, or related agribusiness.
• Proven success in senior sales or sales management.
• Strong understanding of the New Zealand dairy or ruminant industry and market dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual sales targets and growth for the NZ ruminant portfolio.
• Develop and implement the NZ ruminant sales strategy aligned with Oceania and APAC priorities.
• Manage direct and indirect sales through distributors, agents, and key accounts.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key accounts, feed mills and premixers, KOLs, nutritionists, and veterinarians.
• Establish, manage, and coach distributors and sales consultants.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities and provide feedback to senior management.
• Collaborate with Technical Services and Marketing to support product positioning and customer engagement.
• Organize and support seminars, industry events, and promotional activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Complete required sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence reports.
