Job summary

WA Country Health Service in Western Australia is seeking a Nursing Workforce Officer for a permanent full-time appointment. The role coordinates travel logistics, payroll and HR matters to support the deployment of nursing staff across WACHS, ensuring compliance and acting as a point of contact for allowances and deployment queries.

You will work with the Nursing Workforce team within WA Health, engaging with stakeholders and managing competing priorities with strong organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Human Resource Management, workforce planning, payroll, or government travel coordination.
• Highly developed organisational and coordination skills with attention to detail and ability to manage priorities.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
• Well-developed conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently and in a team.
