Job summary

Lumia Care is seeking a highly organised Booking Consultants to manage the day-to-day scheduling and coordination of nursing staff across acute hospital and theatre environments. You will work closely with hospitals, nurses, and internal teams to ensure shifts are filled quickly and efficiently while maintaining exceptional service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in workforce planning, rostering, scheduling, bookings or healthcare staffing.
• Experience in nursing, healthcare, hospital or agency staffing environments is highly regarded.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
• Confidence using workforce management and scheduling systems.
• Proactive and resilient approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and fill acute and theatre nursing shifts daily.
• Manage urgent staffing requests from hospitals and healthcare facilities.
• Match appropriately skilled nurses to shift requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and clinical staff.
• Monitor workforce availability and proactively fill upcoming vacancies.
• Ensure all bookings meet compliance and credentialing requirements.
• Handle roster changes, cancellations, and last-minute shift requests.
• Maintain accurate records within rostering and recruitment systems.
• Work collaboratively with recruitment and workforce teams to maximise fill rates.
