Chisholm Institute of TAFE – Frankston VIC is seeking an Education Manager – Nursing to lead educational delivery, workforce capability, quality assurance and stakeholder engagement across the Nursing and Clinical Health programs.

The role coordinates teaching teams, timetabling, resource allocation and student progress, with duties rotating between Frankston and Berwick campuses to support Saturday classes.

Qualifications

• Adult Teaching qualification at AQF 5 or 6 level or higher or a willingness to complete this qualification.
• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent.
• Current nursing registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) (no conditions).
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or qualifications that meet the RTO Standards.

Responsabilités

• Coordinating and delegating tasks to the team to deliver operational outcomes including; timetabling, resource allocation, teacher loads and student progress.
• Leading and managing teachers, including supervision, performance, professional and vocational currency and development requirements.
• Leading the design, development, delivery and evaluation of innovative, customised, high quality vocational education and training responses for identified students and clients.
• Designing and developing innovative teaching and learning resources including tailored materials in a range of mediums to support varying student learning styles.
• Maximising student engagement, retention, satisfaction and a positive teaching environment through collaboration with the Student Experience team.
• Engaging with employers and industry representatives to ensure teaching materials and content meet industry and employer needs and currency.
• Contributing to business development activities including tenders and submissions to support business growth and the Institute’s fee for service goals.
