Job summary

UTS is seeking an Associate Lecturer – Academic Clinical Coordinator in Sydney for the School of Nursing and Midwifery. The role involves coordinating clinical placements, teaching, and supporting clinical facilitators, with a hybrid onsite/remote arrangement at the Broadway campus.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication, organisational, and governance skills, knowledge of ANSAT and nursing education standards, and experience in academic or clinical education in Australia.

Qualifications

• Experience in academic or clinical education within Australian university settings.
• Ability to coordinate clinical placements and supervise students.
• Knowledge of nursing education standards and assessment tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment and support of casual academic clinical facilitators.
• Support the operation of Professional Experience Placements (PEP) and liaise with faculty staff.
• Ensure compliance with UTS policies and build external stakeholder relationships.
• Teach, assess students and engage in scholarly activities.
