This full‑time ongoing role is based in Moorabbin with travel to other campuses, offering a salary of $160,000 per annum pro rata plus 12% super and leave loading, plus a supportive, child-safe workplace.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in a relevant area, along with a nursing degree.
• Strong leadership skills with extensive experience in the health and education sectors.
• Experience in curriculum development and innovation in education, particularly through simulation-based methodologies.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to build effective partnerships with industry, academia, and clinical teams.
• Highly organised, with strong strategic planning abilities and the capacity to lead complex initiatives.
• WWCC and Police Check: appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining an employee Working with Children Check and a Police Check within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of nursing research programs at Holmesglen and Healthscope.
• Drive educational innovation, including the integration of simulation-based learning.
• Oversee the use of simulation facilities, supporting both educational and operational excellence.
• Develop and maintain strong research partnerships nationally and internationally.
• Secure external research funding, mentor early career researchers, lead curriculum development and foster academic excellence in the faculty.
• Engage with key stakeholders to translate research into clinical practice improvements.
