Australian Red Cross Lifeblood in Chatswood NSW is seeking a Nursing Assistant to deliver exceptional donor experiences and support donors through the donation process. Full training is provided to learn blood collection procedures and safety practices.

Join a customer-facing role with flexible, varied shifts from Monday to Sunday. No prior blood collection experience is required, just a genuine care for people and a willingness to learn and contribute to life-saving work.

Qualifications

• No prior blood collection experience is required and paid training is provided.
• Passion for delivering an exceptional donor experience with proven customer-facing experience.

Responsabilités

• Greet and interview potential donors to assess eligibility and suitability.
• Create a donor experience they’ll love and ensure donor comfort.
• Set up machines and collections equipment for donations.
• Insert and remove needles safely to collect blood components.
• Monitor donors post-donation and assist with rebooking next donation.
• Work with the team to achieve collection targets.
