TAFE NSW is seeking an Assessor of Nursing at the Taree Campus on a permanent part-time basis (14 hours per week). The role involves independent assessments and grading to support students during clinical placements across the region, including Forster and Taree.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent and current AHPRA Registration, with teaching qualifications or willingness to undertake the paid-to-learn Assessor Skill Set course (up to 8 weeks).

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
• Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Evidence of holding teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training (or willingness to undertake the Assessor Skill Set course, up to 8 weeks).
• Minimum of three years post-qualification experience (within the last five years).

Responsabilités

• Carry out independent assessments and grading for students, focusing on task completion and identifying training needs.
• Support students during clinical placements across the region, including Forster and Taree.
• Model professional standards and assist in coordinating with healthcare facilities.
