Job summary

MedRecruit Limited seeks a locum medical practitioner to cover shifts at a major public hospital in Australia. The role runs from 9 November to 15 December 2026, and 30 December 2026 to 31 January 2027, with daily shift times from 0730 to 1800 and on-call periods outside these hours.

The candidate must hold current AHPRA registration. FANZCA is required; provisional Fellows will be considered. Travel and accommodation are provided, and rates include superannuation and taxes where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must have current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.
• FANZCA fellowship is preferred; provisional fellows may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Cover locum duties as scheduled between 0730–1800.
• On-call weekdays 1800–0730 and weekends 0730–0730.
• Ensure at least one on-call shift per week.
