Job summary
Monash Health in Victoria is seeking an inaugural Nurse Manager for the new Mental Health Hospital in the Home (MH HITH) service. You will shape the model of care, recruit the initial workforce, and set the culture alongside the leadership team to reflect inpatient standards in a home-based setting.
This dedicated Nurse Manager role sits under Monash Health's Enterprise Agreement, with leadership across a seven-day roster and a focus on safe, person-centred acute care delivered in consumers'
Qualifications
- Nurse Manager Grade 5/Level 2 (AG11) or Level 3 (AG12) appointment.
- Registered Psychiatric Nurse preferred for MH HITH leadership.
- Experience setting up a new multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, monitoring and review of the MH HITH model of care with senior leaders.
- Build a new multidisciplinary team, recruit, establish rosters and governance from ground up.
- Provide clinical and operational leadership across a seven-day roster delivering home-based acute care.
- Set direction to meet service targets, improve efficiency and enhance consumer/family experience.
- Provide visible leadership and professional development to the team and foster innovation.
- Manage budget planning, monitoring and reporting for the unit.
