Job summary

SA Health’s Strathalbyn Hospital in the Adelaide Hills region is seeking a part-time RN/M2A to deliver high-quality nursing and midwifery care. The role includes leadership, coordination of admissions/discharges, and mentoring in a supportive regional health setting.

You will contribute to improving patient flow, care delivery, and service improvement while aligning with organisational safety and quality standards. This is a part-time position with salary range detailed below.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing/midwifery care, including assessment, care planning and coordination of admissions and discharges
• Provide day-to-day clinical leadership, overseeing care delivery within the team and supporting safe, effective patient flow
• Support the Nurse Unit Manager in clinical, operational and change management activities
• Contribute to education and mentoring by supporting students, new staff and ongoing professional development within the team
• Participate in quality improvement, clinical audits and research activities to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery
