Job summary

The Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network is seeking an experienced RN/M2A at Strathalbyn Hospital. This part-time role (24 hours per week) offers leadership in patient-centred nursing and mentoring, delivering high-quality care across diverse clinical settings.

You will work alongside the Nurse Unit Manager to drive positive patient outcomes, support admissions and discharges, and contribute to team development and service improvements within a supportive regional health environment.

Qualifications

• Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing/midwifery care.
• Ability to provide day-to-day clinical leadership and oversee care delivery.
• Willingness to contribute to education and mentoring of staff and students.
• Engagement in quality improvement, clinical audits, and research activities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing/midwifery care, including assessment, care planning, and coordination of admissions and discharges.
• Provide day-to-day clinical leadership, overseeing care delivery within the team and supporting safe, effective patient flow.
• Support the Nurse Unit Manager in clinical, operational, and change management activities.
• Contribute to education and mentoring by supporting students, new staff, and ongoing professional development within the team.
• Participate in quality improvement, clinical audits, and research activities to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.
