Job summary

Central Australian Aboriginal Congress (CAAC) is seeking registered nurses to join its primary healthcare team in Alice Springs. This full-time/part-time/casual role offers a base salary of $79,326–$99,587 per year with a total package up to $122,267, plus relocation assistance of $7,000 from NT PHN.

CAAC provides comprehensive, culturally appropriate care to Aboriginal communities, with strong professional development support and generous leave entitlements.

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Nurse immunisation certificate or willingness to obtain within six months of start.
• Ability to work in primary healthcare and manage confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, culturally safe nursing care at Congress clinics in Alice Springs and Amoonguna.
• Coordinate follow-ups and referrals with community health programs.
• Deliver health promotion and education relevant to presenting clients.
• Assess and manage general healthcare within professional scope; administer vaccines and prescribed meds.
