Job summary

ForHealth is seeking a Practice Nurse Manager for our Maroubra practice to provide leadership and operational management to a team of nurses, ensuring high standards of patient care. You will work with the Practice Manager to maintain Treatment Room efficiency and mentor clinical staff.

The successful candidate will demonstrate proven leadership, be a registered nurse with experience in general practice or acute settings, and possess strong organisational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in healthcare settings
• Registered nurse with clinical leadership exposure
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and effective management to a team of nurses
• Ensure patient care is provided efficiently and effectively by managing varied clinical procedures as necessary
• Coach, train, and mentor the team to deliver the best clinical outcomes
• Maintain the Treatment Room and ensure it runs efficiently with appropriate staffing
• Assist the GP with health assessments, GP management plans and reviews
• Work with the Practice Manager to understand and manage financial levers within the practice
