Aviva Medical Specialists Pty Ltd invites Nurse Practitioners with Primary Health, Aged Care or Palliative Care specialisation to join their innovative team. Work primarily from home while supporting clinics and aged care facilities across Australia, including rural NSW.

This flexible role offers a Monday–Friday 9:00am–5:00pm schedule with some on-call. You’ll bring advanced clinical skills, remote communication proficiency, and a passion for rural health to improve care in remote communities.

Formación

• Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration and Nurse Practitioner endorsement.
• Specialisation in Primary Health, Aged Care or Palliative Care.
• Advanced clinical experience in assessment, treatment, and health promotion.
• Strong understanding of rural and remote health settings.
• Experience in aged care and familiarity with aged care standards.
• Excellent communication and telehealth/EHR proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.

Responsabilidades

• Provide essential healthcare services to patients in rural, remote communities and aged care facilities.
• Deliver care remotely from home with a Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm schedule; some on-call.
• Travel to on-site clinics in rural NSW for up to one week every 3–6 months.

What the role offers

• Work remotely from anywhere in Australia, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm.
• Some on-call required, but we will fit in with your lifestyle.
• Spend a minimum of up to one week every three to six months working on-site in our clinics located in rural NSW.
• Provide essential healthcare services to patients in diverse settings, including rural, remote communities, and aged care facilities.

What we’re looking for

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioners with a passion for rural and remote health. To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner.
• A specialisation in Primary Health, Aged Care or Palliative Care
• Advanced clinical experience in the assessment and treatment of illness, injury, and health promotion.
• A strong understanding of the unique challenges of rural and remote health settings.
• Experience in an aged care setting and familiar with the aged care standards.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex medical information clearly and empathetically.
• Proficiency in using virtual communication platforms and electronic health records.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a remote team.
