Job summary

Queensland Health’s Bundaberg region seeks a Nurse Navigator (Quality and Innovation) to drive change across Integrated Care. You will lead quality improvement, promote evidence-based practice and advance patient outcomes in the Wide Bay area.

The role demands clinical leadership with expertise in contemporary nursing, and the ability to coordinate strategic initiatives, hospital avoidance programs and hospital-in-the-home pilots, ensuring care is delivered at the right place and time.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and theory.
• Ability to provide clinical leadership, advice and advocacy to a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience with quality improvement and innovative healthcare initiatives.
