Job summary

Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network in Murray Bridge is seeking a Registered Nurse/Midwife Level 3 to lead and coordinate patient care across nursing, midwifery and multidisciplinary teams. The role focuses on strengthening team performance and advancing clinical practice while fostering a positive workplace culture.

You will manage and mentor staff, implement quality improvements and ensure alignment with contemporary nursing and midwifery standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse/Midwife with current or eligible AHPRA registration and practising certificate.
• Minimum 3 years' post-registration experience with demonstrated clinical competence.
• Proven leadership and management experience, including supervision and staff development.
• Highly developed communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution and change management skills.
• Knowledge of contemporary nursing/midwifery practice, relevant legislation, standards and person-centred care.

Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

Essential Criteria

• Registered Nurse/Midwife with current or eligible AHPRA registration and practising certificate.
• Minimum 3 years' post-registration experience with demonstrated clinical competence.
• Proven leadership and management experience, including supervision and staff development.
• Highly developed communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution and change management skills.
• Knowledge of contemporary nursing/midwifery practice, relevant legislation, standards and person-centred care.

Desired Criteria

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in nursing, midwifery or a related discipline.
• Experience in financial, human resource and service management, strategic planning and research.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of the South Australian Public Health System.
