Job summary

NSW Health’s Medical Imaging service is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver safe, patient-centred care across CT, MRI, ultrasound and interventional imaging. You will work within a multidisciplinary team at Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospitals, supporting patients through complex procedures and ensuring safety and quality care.

The role is temporary part-time (32 hours per week) with remuneration $41.22–$57.88 per hour, located at Blacktown and Mt Druitt Hospitals, offering

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with APHRA.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care during imaging procedures.
• Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate patient-centred care.
• Support patients undergoing CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy and interventional procedures.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation including contrast reactions and incidents.
• Apply radiation safety principles to protect patients and staff.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and escalate concerns.
