Job summary

North Metropolitan Health Service's Women and Newborn Health Service in Western Australia is recruiting into newly defined midwifery and nursing leadership roles for permanent full-time appointments, 76 hours per fortnight.

The Clinical Nurse Manager role offers genuine professional autonomy, leads high‑quality maternity care, and supports innovation through evidence-based practice within a state‑wide, tertiary service.

Qualifications

• Provide leadership consistent with organisational values and behaviour.
• Have significant knowledge, experience and leadership within an acute nursing setting
• Use highly developed interpersonal, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Integrate quality improvement activities using research to support innovation and evidence-based practice.
• Have current knowledge of how legislative obligations within health can impact on employment and service delivery.
