Job summary

Sunrise Health Service Aboriginal Corporation (SHSAC) is seeking a Health Centre Manager to lead a remote NT health centre. You will manage day-to-day operations, coordinate a multidisciplinary team, and deliver culturally safe, integrated primary healthcare for Aboriginal communities.

You will mentor staff, oversee clinical operations, pharmacy and assets, and work with partners to strengthen community health outcomes in remote settings.

Qualifications

• Registration with AHPRA as a General Nurse or Aboriginal Health Practitioner.
• Broad experience in comprehensive primary healthcare with advanced clinical skills for remote settings.
• 1–2 years of experience in comprehensive primary healthcare.
• Commitment to values of Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations and respect for Aboriginal culture.
• Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
• Understanding of NT health legislation (desirable).
• Resilience, adaptability and collaborative approach for remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective primary healthcare services.
• Oversee clinical operations, planning, portfolio management, pharmacy, and consumables.
• Manage health centre assets and resources for smooth operations.
• Mentor, support, and train staff for culturally safe healthcare.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to improve health outcomes.
• Participate in emergency on-call roster and after-hours support.
• Foster an inclusive environment for staff and patients.
