A leading health organization in Shellharbour City Council is seeking a Nurse Educator to develop and deliver education and training programs. The Nurse Educator is responsible for the planning and development of education and training programs. These programs will serve to facilitate the development of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, culminating in the provision of safe, quality, person centred patient care. The Nurse Educator will work closely with the Nursing Executive to facilitate and support the delivery of these education programs at the site/service level.
The Nurse Educator will also work closely with the Clinical Nurse Educators, Clinical Nurse Consultants and Clinical Nurse Specialists to undertake the review, implementation, education and evaluation of relevant policies and procedures relating to evidence based clinical practice.
