Job summary

East Grampians Health Service in Victoria seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct clinical support and teaching to undergraduate nursing students, developing competency across a range of clinical situations and working closely with students at all year levels and their supporting university.

The successful applicant will be an excellent communicator and team player, with current AHPRA registration, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or working towards) and significant preceptor

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or working towards same.
• Significant experience as a preceptor/mentor for undergraduate nursing students.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical support to undergraduate nursing students.
• Deliver teaching and supervise students across year levels.
• Collaborate with university partners to support student learning.
• Model and promote evidence-based nursing care.
