Department of Education Victoria through Traralgon College invites applications for a Health and VM Numeracy Classroom Teacher. The role centers on planning, preparation and delivery of programs to improve student outcomes in health and numeracy, within a two-tier classroom teacher system.

Successful applicants will demonstrate knowledge of the curriculum, strong literacy and numeracy integration, and a commitment to reflective professional learning in a supportive school community.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of curriculum with literacy and numeracy integration.
• Experience planning and implementing high-impact teaching strategies.
• Experience using data to inform teaching and communicate progress to students and parents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate with staff and community.
• Commitment to reflective practice and professional learning.

Responsabilités

• Direct teaching of groups and individuals.
• Contribute to curriculum development and evaluation.
• Undertake classroom or school duties as required by the principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings and school activities.
• Support student wellbeing and engagement through effective classroom practices.
