A regional health service in New South Wales is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager Level 3 to lead and manage the Acute Care Team and PACER at Hornsby Ku-Ring Gai Hospital. The role requires strong clinical experience, leadership abilities, and knowledge of mental health legislation. The Nurse Unit Manager Level 3 (NUM3) will provide leadership, management and accountability for staff within the portfolio and will ensure clinical practice is consistent and in accordance with evidenced based practice.
Employment Type: Temporary Full Time until 6 March 2026 (with possibility of ongoing employment)

Remuneration: $2,619.70 per week

Acute Care Team and PACER at Hornsby Ku-Ring Gai Hospital
The NUM 3 will provide leadership, management and accountability for staff within the portfolio and will ensure clinical practice is consistent and in accordance with evidenced based practice.
The incumbent will play a central role in the operational management of acute mental health service delivery including the ACT and PACER and ensure timely, appropriate and flexible high quality care is provided.
The incumbent will participate in strategic business, operational planning and maintain networks/relationships with internal and external agencies, including Community Managed Organisations, General Practitioners, Department of Housing, Police and other relevant agencies in the effective and efficient operations of the ACT and PACER teams.
