Job summary

Townsville Hospital and Health Service in Townsville, QLD, seeks a Graduate/Nuclear Medicine Technologist to deliver base level nuclear medicine services within a multidisciplinary team. You will provide education to staff, patients, and the public on clinical and safety considerations in Nuclear Medicine.

The role requires a tertiary qualification in Nuclear Medicine, current registration with the MRPB, and a Queensland Health Radiation Use Licence.

• Tertiary qualification in Nuclear Medicine.
• Current registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia.
• Radiation Use Licence issued by Queensland Health - Radiation Health.
• Vaccine Preventable Disease risk role.
• Probation period may apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver base level nuclear medicine services including education as a member of a multidisciplinary team to stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health.
• Provide education to staff, patients, and the public regarding the clinical and safety considerations specific to Nuclear Medicine services and provide a patient focus to the performance of duties.

• Salary range: $80,016 to $116,189 p.a. (HP3)
• 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

• This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
• Probation period may apply.
• Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
