AtkinsRéalis Australia is seeking experienced Nuclear professionals to support Defence initiatives across Perth and Adelaide. You will collaborate with global technical teams to deliver local engineering solutions and help shape future project opportunities.

Ideal candidates have nuclear industry experience, design/construction expertise for maritime/defence platforms, and hold a tertiary engineering qualification. Australian Government security clearance eligibility is required.

Overview

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced Nuclear industry professionals as we gear up for future workloads and anticipated project wins. As AtkinsRéalis Australia embarks on expansion into the Defence industry, these roles will be an integral part of enabling a Defence business in Australia across Perth and Adelaide. Supported by a mature global team, the successful candidate will benefit from guidance and experience of technical leads from other parts of the global business to grow the Australian business. The Nuclear Experienced Roles (Multiple) will also be responsible for connecting with global technical teams to deliver local engineering solutions across all elements of the defence capability lifecycle.

Your role

• Develop global relationships with AtkinsRéalis technical teams to deliver global experience locally.
• Collaborate with diverse customers and stakeholders to deliver engineering solutions.
• Contribute to the development of complex project proposals and participate in the process of securing new business opportunities or expanding the scope of existing projects.
• Provide Engineering support for design, construction and maintenance of defence platforms and infrastructure inline with stakeholder requirements and timeframes.
• Support and conduct safety and technical risk assessments.
• Forecast monitor and report upon engineering performance and to identify and mitigate technical and project risks.

About you

• Experience working in Nuclear industry.
• Experience in design, construction, and support of maritime / defence / platform systems.
• Tertiary engineering qualification.
• Hold or eligible to obtain Australian Government security clearance.
• A good understanding of the Australian government defence ecosystem.
• An excellent communicator, verbal (active listener) and written (able to write concisely).
