About the Roles

We have multiple opportunities available across the Canterbury/Bankstown and Central Western Sydney regions, that support asylum seekers, refugees, and people from CALD backgrounds to find and maintain meaningful employment. The roles available are:

  • Employment Specialists – Manage a caseload of jobseekers with disability, helping them overcome barriers, build skills, and connect with employers to achieve sustainable employment.
  • Post Placement Support Officers – support lasting employment by helping participants and employers with regular contact and tailored assistance. It includes arranging workplace adjustments, government support, and gathering evidence for reporting. Working with the IEA team, the officer provides ongoing help and builds strong employer relationships to meet key goals and ensure successful jobs for everyone.
Who We’re Looking For
  • Someone with or ready to complete a Certificate IV in Employment Services, who pays great attention to detail
  • A caring, customer-focused person with a strong understanding of labour markets
  • Experienced in meeting goals and ensuring compliance
  • Comfortable and respectful working with diverse, multicultural communities
  • Background in Employment Services or similar fields is a plus
  • Passionate about supporting people facing challenges and from diverse backgrounds
  • Skilled at mentoring, coaching, and building meaningful connections with employers and communities
  • A great communicator who stays organised and manages tasks well
  • Flexible, resilient, and ready to thrive in a fast-moving, team-focused environment
