Job summary

MSS Security is seeking Security Officers to join our Defence portfolio in the ACT. If you are based in NSW or VIC and are willing to relocate, MSS will cover mutual recognition costs for your security licence transfer to ACT and fund the required security clearance.

No prior security experience is required—training and support are provided to help you start a meaningful security career with MSS Security. Veterans are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Australian Citizenship required for Defence clearance eligibility
• ACT Security Licence required; mutual recognition for NSW/VIC licence relocation to ACT
• Full Open Driver's Licence
• NV1 or PV Clearance required; MSS funds clearance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure with attention to detail
• High level of integrity, accountability and professionalism

Responsibilities

• Maintain security and safety standards within MSS Defence portfolio in the ACT
• Relocate from NSW or VIC to ACT as needed; MSS covers mutual recognition costs and licence/clearance fees
