Job summary

Ellex Medical Pty Ltd in Adelaide is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering & Industrialisation Manager to lead the transfer of new products from development into production. Working with a skilled R&D group, you will develop industrialisation plans, ensure manufacturing readiness, drive NPI activities, and mentor a small team of engineers.

You will have a Bachelor's in Engineering, strong leadership, and a continuous improvement mindset, with postgraduate qualifications and Lean/Six

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline.
• Postgraduate qualifications in Engineering or Manufacturing (desirable).
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Lead the transfer of new products and design changes from Engineering into Manufacturing.
• Develop and execute industrialisation plans and ensure manufacturing readiness requirements are identified and implemented.
• Lead NPI activities from design release through to production implementation, including pilot builds, validation activities and production ramp-up.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing processes, work instructions and production documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality and operational efficiency and lead process optimisation projects.
• Work with Purchasing and Supply Chain teams to support supplier selection, qualification and improvement initiatives.
