Zusammenfassung

Medical & Aged Care Group (MACG) is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver high quality clinical care at Oaklea Hall Aged Care in Southeast Victoria. You will combine clinical judgement with warmth and respect for residents, supporting daily care and medical management in a team‑based environment.

This permanent part-time role includes assessing needs, planning interim care, administering medications, wound care and vitals, mentoring staff, and liaising with GPs to achieve best

Qualifikationen

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Supervisory experience in clinical settings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of legislation appropriate to aged care (ACFI & funding).
• Contemporary clinical skills and ongoing professional development.
• Understanding of Aged Care Accreditation Standards.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct clinical care to residents within scope of practice.
• Admit and assess new residents and develop interim care plans.
• Review care plans for residents with complex or palliative needs.
• Administer medications and perform wound care, vital signs and glucose monitoring.
• Manage emergencies in consultation with the Facility Manager.
• Support and mentor Personal Care Workers and liaise with external health professionals.
• Ensure accurate documentation and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
