Job summary

Catholic Healthcare in Orange, NSW, is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct clinical care to residents in our aged care home. You will act as Team Leader, coaching the personal care team and ensuring high standards of safety and quality in line with policies and procedures.

Applicants must hold current AHPRA registration and a Bachelor of Nursing, with a solid understanding of Aged Care Legislation and AN-ACC processes.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing.
• Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes.
• Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of ageing and health issues.
• Strong coaching/training skills and ability to support staff.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures.
• Act as Team Leader, coaching, supervising and guiding the personal care team.
• Work in a safe manner, following all policies and procedures.
