Job summary

Opella is seeking a Production Team Leader (Night Shift available) in Brisbane. You will lead shift production teams to safely deliver plans while upholding quality, compliance and performance, and you'll help build a capable, engaged team culture.

You will drive continuous improvement, coach and develop staff, investigate issues, analyse performance data, and ensure reliable product delivery to support Opella's self-care mission.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in manufacturing, production or operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills with practical solutions.
• Ability to analyse performance data and identify trends.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments is advantageous.
• Qualifications in manufacturing or engineering are beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support production teams to meet daily and weekly plans safely.
• Conduct regular one-to-one conversations for feedback and development.
• Investigate issues, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor performance data and trends to improve productivity and quality.
• Build team capability through training and compliance.
• Foster open communication across shifts and encourage collaboration.
• Drive continuous improvement and resolve issues impacting production.
