Kerry is seeking a Process Quality Technologist to support compliance with Food Safety Management Systems at the Murarrie site in Queensland, Australia. The role focuses on quality, continuous improvement and food safety practices, coordinating with in‑process teams to ensure products meet safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include audits, GMP verification, finished goods release, non-conforming materials management, CAPA investigations, and data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field.
• 3 years’ experience in food safety and quality assurance within the food industry.
• Practical quality knowledge and experience in investigations, managing complaints, and root cause analysis.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in statistical analysis, process control, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Advanced Excel and SAP experience desirable.
• Ability to commit to night shift working hours.

Responsabilités

• Maintain compliance with food safety management systems (HACCP, BRCGS, Halal, Kosher, and customer programs) through inspections and audits.
• Perform GMP/GBP verification to ensure site and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct finished goods release with triple verification against safety and quality requirements.
• Manage non-conforming materials in SAP and inventory locations with disposition decisions.
• Lead/c participate in customer complaints and CAPA investigations with root-cause analysis.
• Review production records for compliance with specs and safety requirements.
• Conduct environmental monitoring and hygiene swabbing per site programs.
• Utilise SPC, CpK analysis, and data to drive optimisation and improvements.
• Maintain quality records in SAP, Intelex, KerryTrack and other systems.
• Coordinate raw material non-conformance activities with suppliers and QA teams.
• Support Operations, R&D and other functions to ensure lifecycle quality.
• Lead site quality improvement initiatives with data-driven change management.
• Promote a culture of food safety and quality in daily operations.
• Ensure timely completion of policies, reports, and actions.
