Job summary

Australia Post is seeking a Maintenance Technician at our Sydney Parcel Facility in Chullora. You will work with our Technical Managers and Team Members to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on an automated network, diagnose faults and support improvement initiatives.

Safety and compliance are central; you will use SAP and other maintenance systems to record activities and plan materials. The role offers an permanent night shift, a 9-day fortnight, five weeks annual leave, overtime,

Qualifications

Full NSW Electrical License and Cert III Electrotechnology are required.
Strong fault-finding skills on industrial or processing equipment.
Exposure to PLC/VFD is desirable but not essential.
Comfortable working independently and with operations teams.
Confident using maintenance systems and technology (e.g. SAP).
Flexible to support additional hours when required.
Motivated to learn and progress with development pathways.

Responsibilities

Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on automated conveyors, sortation systems, scanners and PLC-controlled machinery.
Diagnose faults and support maintenance planning to improve operational performance.
Use maintenance management systems (e.g., SAP) to record work activities and manage materials.
Work with Technical Managers and Team Members to ensure reliable parcel movement.
