Job summary

Design Sheetmetal VIC is seeking a reliable Night Shift Loader to join our production and dispatch team in Victoria. You will safely load and unload steel products, prepare customer orders, and support warehouse operations during the night shift.

The role requires a current LF forklift licence, experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting, and a strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and teamwork. You’ll work Sunday night to Thursday early morning, contributing to on-time dispatch for our

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Pick, check, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Handle steel coils, roofing sheets, flashings, and sheet metal products safely.
• Verify products and quantities against delivery documentation.
• Secure loads to ensure safe transport and minimise damage.
• Complete daily forklift pre-start inspections and report any maintenance issues.
• Receive, unload, and store incoming materials.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
• Work closely with production and dispatch teams to meet delivery schedules.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and quality standards.
• Assist with general warehouse and dispatch duties as required.

Design Sheetmetal is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Night Shift Loader to join our production and dispatch team in Victoria.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring customer orders are loaded accurately, safely, and ready for dispatch each night.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you\'ll be responsible for loading and unloading steel products, preparing customer orders, and supporting the efficient operation of our warehouse and dispatch team.

About the Role

Working night shift, you\'ll ensure customer orders are picked, checked, and loaded safely while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in getting the job done right.
