Northeast Health Wangaratta is seeking a reliable Cleaner / Patient Transport Officer to join our team, with the role predominantly working night shifts. You will maintain a clean, safe and welcoming hospital environment, cleaning and preparing patient beds and bed spaces, and assist with patient transport as required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain hospital areas to a high standard.
• Prepare patient beds and bed spaces for new tasks and patients.
• Collect and dispose of waste following hospital procedures.
• Assist with patient transport as required.
• Maintain stock levels of cleaning and ward supplies.
• Keep wards and clinical areas tidy and ready for the next shift.
• Follow infection control and health and safety procedures.
