Job summary

AWX is seeking experienced Construction Labourers and Bridge Inspectors to join the Nerang-based structures team servicing bridge and road infrastructure on the Gold Coast. The role primarily involves night shifts and requires comfort working at heights in a demanding outdoor environment. Multiple positions are available for an approx.

12-month contract with potential penalties and construction allowances. AWX offers dedicated account management and ongoing infrastructure team work with PPE

Qualifications

• White Card required.
• HR Truck Licence required.
• EWP Licence required.
• Current Driver's Licence required.
• Experience in bridge inspection/structures highly regarded.
• Previous construction or civil experience preferred.
• Comfortable with night shifts.
• Physically fit for outdoor/demanding environments.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bridge inspections and structures servicing.
• General construction labouring duties.
• Work at heights and from elevated platforms.
• Assist with maintenance and inspection activities.
• Perform manual handling and physical labour.
• Work safely around road and bridge infrastructure.
• Operate EWP where required.
