Job summary

Veriu Group in Victoria is seeking a Hotel Night Auditor to join a growing Australian-owned hotel group. You will manage the front office overnight, handle late check-ins, ensure accurate night audits, and deliver high levels of guest service.

Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you will be part of a small team, collaborate with night and day colleagues, and contribute to the seamless operation of multiple properties across Australia.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in Australia with approved working rights
• First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain before starting
• Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate or ability to obtain before starting
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including public holidays
• Demonstrated experience leading a team with kindness to achieve outcomes
• Strong problem solving and escalation resolution skills
• High standards of attention to detail and communication (written & verbal)
• Experience in a customer service role

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and consistent management of the night audit function, including audits, reports and reconciliations
• Manage front office overnight operations including late check-ins, security, and remote guest support
• Foster collaboration between the night and day teams
• Provide training and escalation support for night staff
• Deliver high levels of guest services in all interactions
• Handle emergencies safely and professionally
• Support the Hotel Manager in higher-level hotel management tasks
