Job summary

Barwon Health is seeking an Enrolled Nurse (Level 2) for Alan David Lodge, Geelong region, to provide compassionate, person-centred nursing in aged care. You will work with Registered Nurses and a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care, promote residents’ independence and dignity, and support ongoing education and professional development in a large regional health service.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Experience in aged care or strong interest in working with older people.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong clinical assessment and time management skills.
• A compassionate, resident-focused approach to care.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with individual care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments within your scope of practice.
• Monitor residents’ health and promptly report changes in condition.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and resident records.
• Support residents with their physical, emotional, and social wellbeing.
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses, care staff, allied health professionals, residents, and families.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
• Comply with organisational policies, aged care standards, and infection control procedures.
