Job summary

BlueCare's Sunrise Beach aged care home is seeking a Night Duty Personal Carer (Care Companion) to work a 10pm–6am shift in a 102-bed setting, part-time. You’ll operate within a small household model that emphasises resident-first care, building warm relationships and supporting independence, choice and wellbeing.

As a Care Companion, you will assist with daily living, follow each resident's Care Plan, support social activities and advocate for residents while promoting engagement and choice.

Responsibilities

• Daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, help at mealtimes, general mobility and laundry
• Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
• Supporting with community based recreational and social activities
• Advocating for the residents while providing them with choice, fostering skills and encouraging engagement
