Job summary

Cater Care is seeking motivated Utility All Rounders for FIFO rosters from Adelaide. You will support dining, housekeeping, and cleaning across on-site facilities, contributing to safe, efficient operations on site.

Ideal candidates have at least 12 months of utility/cleaner experience, a friendly attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A current driver's license is preferred, and police clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• 12 months+ experience in utility/housekeeping/cleaning roles.
• Commitment to friendly customer service.
• Willingness to obtain police clearance and pre-employment checks.
• Eligible to work in Australia (Citizen or PR).

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and clear dining areas.
• Operate dishwashing and clean kitchen facilities.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Provide efficient and friendly service during peak times.
• Support team across departments as needed.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness and stock levels.
• Housekeeping: clean guest rooms and en-suites; beds as required.
• General cleaning across communal areas and site facilities.

Job Description

As part of your daily routine as a Utility All-Rounder at Cater Care; You will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks, including:

• Setting up, maintaining, and clearing dining areas
• Operating dishwashing equipment and ensuring the cleanliness of kitchen facilities, utensils, and dining spaces
• Adhering to all legislated food safety and hygiene standards
• Providing efficient and friendly service during high-demand periods
• Supporting team members across departments as needed
• Dining Room Duties: maintaining cleanliness, replenishing stock, and ensuring crib food levels are sufficient
• Housekeeping: cleaning guest rooms and ensuites, making beds as required
• General Cleaning: managing waste, sweeping, mopping, and other cleaning duties in communal areas
• Mine Site Cleaning: maintaining cleanliness in site offices, crib huts, and bathhouses

Desired Skills And Experience

The Ideal Applicant Will Have:

• Experience working as a Utility/ Utility All Rounder/Cleaner/Housekeeper/Kitchen Hand 12 months +
• A commitment to genuine, friendly customer service
• A motivated, enthusiastic and positive ‘can-do’ attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced time-sensitive environment
• Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
• Drivers License (Auto or Man)
• Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident
• Forklift Licence preferred
