Active Balance Physiotherapy and Performance in Old Bar, NSW, is seeking a full-time physiotherapist to join a growing private practice with a varied caseload including sporting injuries, orthopaedic rehab, neurological and vestibular rehab, and community physiotherapy. The role offers direct support from experienced clinicians and opportunities to sponsor local clubs.

You will benefit from structured monthly CPD through Learn Physio, weekly 1:1 case reviews, journal reviews, and an annual CPD

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration is required.
• APA membership and professional indemnity insurance are required.
• Working with children check and NSW Police check are required.
• Driver's license is required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to establish rapport with patients and staff.
• Desire to evolve as a therapist and engage in ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Full-time role with negotiable hours; potential for 9 day fortnight or a 4 day week.
• Manage a varied caseload including sporting injuries, orthopaedic rehabilitation, neurological and vestibular rehabilitation, group exercise classes, and community physiotherapy.
• Work directly with experienced clinicians to support new graduates.
• Contribute to community by sponsoring local sporting clubs and providing game day coverage.
• Engage in monthly professional development through Learn Physio, weekly 1:1 case reviews, and journal reviews; annual CPD allowance.

Active Balance Physiotherapy and Performance – Old Bar NSW

A little about us:

• Active Balance is a private practice located in the expanding seaside town of Old Bar, on the beautiful mid north coast of NSW.
• Old Bar is close to Taree, Forster and Port Macquarie. You will be spoilt for choice when exploring this magical region, be it by the ocean or the country side.
• Our clinic currently has 4 full time physiotherapists, and full time administrative support.
• We enjoy an excellent relationship with local GP’s and specialists, and working for our team will give you a chance to see a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries across all age groups.
• We provide a range of health services provided to varied clientele; including musculoskeletal and neurological physiotherapy, vestibular assessment and treatment, women's health physiotherapy, sporting injury management, orthopaedics, community based physiotherapy including gym based group exercise classes
• Our Physiotherapists have a strong focus on hands on therapy, including dry needling; special interest in sporting injury management and rehabilitation; women’s health physiotherapy utilising real time ultrasound, and vestibular physiotherapy using vestibular first goggles and software.
• Our clinic in Old Bar has private treatment rooms with onsite gym, as well as access to local gym for group classes and rehab sessions, directly opposite the beach! We will also be expanding and moving into a custom built clinic in mid 2027 right in the heart of Old Bar.

The role on offer:

• Full time negotiable hours/days. Potential for 9 day fortnight, or 4 day week, all options up for discussion.
