Facilitate Occupational Therapy Services – Nowra NSW
You’ve spent years learning to become an OT. Now you’re looking for somewhere to put it into practice—with people you can learn from, questions you can ask out loud, and room to find your feet.
Join our Nowra team in 2027 through our Early Career Occupational Therapist (ECOT) program.
This role is based in Nowra, with the option to work from our Corrimal office some of the time if that suits you. We’re happy to discuss what this could look like.
Good work. Good people. Space for life outside both.
We’re an OT-led community practice supporting people across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven since 2014 with clinics in Nowra and Corrimal.
Our team brings different interests, experience and strengths, connected by a love of occupational therapy and helping people do the things that matter to them.
We take our work seriously, enjoy each other’s company and make room for questions, collaboration and a laugh along the way.
We recruit for the person. We take the time to get to know each other and explore whether we’re the right fit—shared values, how we work and what we each bring to the team.
Our ECOT program includes:
A dedicated mentor to support your clinical reasoning, reflection and development.
Regular, structured supervision and professional development.
Access to the knowledge and experience of other clinicians across our team.
A focused starting caseload within a defined area of practice, giving you time to build core skills before gradually broadening the range and complexity of your work.
A structured graded increase in expectations as you build experience.
Alongside individual mentoring, our ECOTs and HOOTs (Highly Operational OTs) have access to structured peer support facilitated by a senior team leader.
The facilitator helps maintain a safe, reflective environment and coaches the group to support each other, share perspectives and work through challenges—building clinical reasoning, confidence and competence.
As you become more independent, you’ll continue to have people to learn alongside.
Our team works across paediatrics, adult services and aged care, with expertise in assistive technology, seating and mobility, complex equipment, rehabilitation, home modifications and driving.
You’ll begin with a manageable clinical focus and explore your interests as your foundations strengthen. Our ECOT–HOOT pathway supports ongoing development towards clinical expertise, supporting others’ learning or team leadership.
You don’t need your whole career mapped out before you start.
Flexible working arrangements that support work-life balance.
Generous professional development support.
Experienced administration and Allied Health Assistant support.
Connections with colleagues across our Nowra and Corrimal teams
Opportunities to develop your clinical interests and contribute to how our practice grows.
We aim to design a role that evolves with your interests - not one that puts you in a box.
We’re looking for someone who values practical, person-centred OT, brings curiosity and initiative, welcomes feedback and enjoys working with others.
You’ll need:
An OT qualification completed or nearing completion.
Eligibility for AHPRA registration, with registration required before commencing OT duties.
Medicare provider eligibility when required for your role.
A Working With Children Check and National Police Check.
A current driver’s licence and access to a vehicle—travel allowance applies.
Start dates are flexible, including options to join us in a suitable role while completing your studies or awaiting registration.
Apply through SEEK with your CV and a short cover letter telling us about yourself, what you’ve enjoyed on placement and what you’re looking for in your first role.
Want to meet us first? We’d love to arrange a conversation or a visit to our Corrimal clinic.
Applications will be reviewed as they arrive. Applications close Wednesday 18th November 2026.
Your next chapter could start here.
