NSW Health in Randwick seeks a Staff Specialist Psychiatrist to join the Neuropsychiatric Institute (NPI) at Prince of Wales Hospital. This permanent part-time role (0.4 FTE) offers subspecialist neuropsychiatry consultation, research collaboration with UNSW and allied institutes, and leadership in teaching and program development.
The successful candidate will contribute to epilepsy and neuropsychiatry care, train psychiatry trainees, and lead knowledge translation initiatives across multiple
Competenze
- Fellowship in RANZCP or equivalent subspecialty training in psychiatry.
- Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Experience in neuropsychiatry and liaison psychiatry settings preferred.
- Commitment to teaching, research and quality improvement.
Mansioni
- Provide neuropsychiatry consultation-liaison services to epilepsy and related services.
- Lead education, training and supervision for psychiatry trainees and staff.
- Conduct multidisciplinary case conferences and outreach including telehealth.
- Perform comprehensive neuropsychiatric assessments with patients and families.
- Engage in research and translation projects to enhance clinical practice.
