Job summary

The Missing Link is building a contractor network to support enterprise networking initiatives across Australia. We seek a Network Systems Infrastructure Solution Designer who can create secure, scalable designs for on‑prem, hybrid and cloud environments.

You will work with architects, engineers and project teams to ensure robust networking and security architectures, with emphasis on documentation and governance for large-scale deployments.

Qualifications

• Enterprise network design and solution architecture.
• Routing, switching and network security technologies.
• Azure, AWS and/or Google Cloud networking.
• Firewalls, load balancers, DNS, DHCP and IPAM platforms.
• Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Zero Trust and modern network security frameworks.
• Producing high-quality technical design and implementation documentation.
• Operating within large-scale enterprise environments.

About the Opportunities

Our clients engage us to deliver critical infrastructure projects across complex enterprise environments. As a Network Systems Infrastructure Solution Designer contractor, you will work closely with architects, engineers and project teams to design and deliver robust networking and security solutions across on-premises, hybrid and cloud environments.

Projects may include:

• Enterprise network transformation initiatives

• Cloud networking and connectivity design
• Data centre and infrastructure modernisation
• Network security enhancements and segmentation projects
• Infrastructure automation and Infrastructure-as-Code implementations
• Technology refresh and migration programs
• Architecture reviews and technical design governance
