Job summary

Pyramid Global Technologies in Australia is seeking a highly skilled Networking Engineer to design, implement and support enterprise networks.

You will manage data center and core campus networks, work with Nexus, Juniper, F5, Infoblox, and automate tasks with Ansible. Strong routing/switching, VLANs, BGP/OSPF required.

This role focuses on upgrades, monitoring, and SME design reviews in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in network support with routing and switching expertise.
• Experience managing enterprise-grade datacenter networks.
• Hands-on with Nexus switches and Juniper devices.
• Experience in testing and supporting Layer-2/3 switching solutions.
• Experience with Cisco/Juniper routing, Cisco ISE, Meraki, and F5 load balancers.
• Knowledge of VRFs, VDCs, AAA, SNMP, and IPAM.
• Experience with F5 GTM/LTM/WAF and firewall management.
• Experience in upgrading F5 devices and related appliances.
• Experience with Infoblox DNS and upgrades.
• Experience with Juniper switches and core routers.
• Experience using Ansible for network device automation and upgrades.
• Experience with SDN and Cisco ACI.
• Experience with Checkpoint/ FortiGate or other firewalls.
• Strong Layer2/Layer3 protocols knowledge (VLAN, STP, BGP, OSPF, etc).
• Experience with EtherChannel and high availability protocols.
• Familiarity with network management tools and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Designs and configures network implementations and upgrades.
• Participates in architectural design reviews as SME.
• Supports LAN/WAN networking technologies, including F5 LB.
• Performs project analysis and effort estimation.
• Executes upgrades and implementations across multiple devices, including Ansible automation.
• Develops configuration management capabilities and documentation practices.
