Job summary

Sharp and Carter is seeking an experienced Network Security Manager to lead the network and security operations within a large enterprise. Based in Sydney, you will manage a small team and own the strategy, architecture and roadmap for enterprise network and security services.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience across enterprise networking, infrastructure and/or security operations.
• Proven experience leading and developing technical teams.
• Strong technical knowledge across enterprise networking and network security.
• Experience with Cisco switching/routing, Meraki and ISE.
• Strong experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
• Exposure to Azure networking and hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Experience across SD-WAN, VPN, Zero Trust, SASE/SSE and ZTNA.
• Strong understanding of network security, vulnerability management and cyber resilience.
• Experience working alongside Information Security/SOC teams across security monitoring and incident response.
• Strong incident, problem and change management experience within an enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a small team of Network & Security Engineers.
• Own the strategy, architecture and roadmap across enterprise network and security services.
• Oversee network availability, capacity, resilience, security and operational performance.
• Lead major incident, problem and change management across network and security services.
• Manage key technology vendors, telecommunications providers and service partners.
• Support infrastructure, cloud, security and broader technology transformation initiatives.
